Purevbaatar Ganbold currently serves as a Data and GIS Officer at The Nature Conservancy Mongolia. Since 2014, Purevbaatar’s career journey has been closely tied to The Nature Conservancy Mongolia, where he has held various roles, including Intern, GIS Technician, Data Management, and Communication Officer.
Throughout his tenure, Purevbaatar played a crucial role in impactful projects, including the Ecoregional Assessment, Mitigation Design Tool development, Community-led Conservation, and the Nature Climate Solution Prototyping Network.
In addition to his GIS expertise, he possesses skills in Adobe programs for design and editing and is a proficient drone pilot. His passion lies in leveraging technology for effective environmental conservation. Purevbaatar is excited about his continued contributions to The Nature Conservancy Mongolia and the broader conservation community.
Purevbaatar Ganbold is a dedicated GIS and Remote Sensing professional with a strong academic background.
Purevbaatar earned his Bachelor’s degree from the National University of Mongolia. He continued his academic pursuits for a Master’s degree in Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation.
