Baasansuren Erdenebat is a Natural Resource Management Officer with the Community-Led Conservation project.
Over the past six years, she has led local community organizations (CBOs) in Khentii province and significantly contributed to the successful implementation and expansion of the Community-Led Conservation project. Baasansuren brings valuable experience in establishing and enhancing the capacities of CBOs and associations. She excels in building relationships among various stakeholders, particularly between local citizens and government institutions. Additionally, she is adept at securing budgets and financing for the successful implementation of community-based natural resource management plans. Baasansuren has also demonstrated proficiency in organizing various events, workshops, and training sessions at the local level.
Baasansuren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the Mongolian University of Life Sciences and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Ecology at the National University of Mongolia. Her passion lies in helping the public understand the concept of nature conservation and fostering sustainable development by ensuring that local communities benefit from conservation efforts. In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Baasansuren is a certified CCNET-trained coach.
