Biography

Narangerel Naranpurev is a Natural Resource Management Consultant for The Nature Conservancy of Mongolia. Her main role is to support within ongoing conservation projects will focus on assisting CBOs in developing management plans, addressing overlaps with protected areas, and organizing activities in line with conservation standards. Additionally, support will be provided for organizing conferences, meetings, and training sessions across various fields.

She is a conservationist and she earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the Mongolian State University of Life Science. Prior to this, she completed their Bachelor’s degree in Ecological Science at the Mongolian State University of Agriculture. First five years of her career she focused on behavior and habitat selection of the reintroduced last species wild horse (P.horse) in Hustai National Park of Mongolia. She has gained practical experience through various training programs and workshops, including the Conservation Coach Training Workshop by the Conservation Coaches Network, the Professional Fellows Program at Colorado State University, Minnesota Zoo and Denver Zoo.

Earlier she held roles such as Conservationist, Eco-volunteer Program Coordinator, and Project Coordinator at organizations like Hustai National Park Trust NGO and Zorig Foundation NGO.

She has demonstrated expertise in conservation project management, wildlife biology, and community engagement. They are committed to developing best practices for conservation and fostering collaboration between stakeholders to protect endangered species and environments.
